On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, Mlup Russey participated in the consultation meeting on the draft revision of the policy on alternative care for children. 2006 under the high presidency of HE Touch Channy, Director General of Social Services Mr. and Mrs. Deputy Heads of Departments and Officers of the Department of Child Protection, a total of 37 (12 females) supported by UNICEF.
The purpose of this meeting:
1. Consult with stakeholders on the content of the draft revised 2006 Alternative Care Policy for Children.
2. Ensure that the revised 2006 Child Care Policy is amended in accordance with the national and international context, including the United Nations Guidelines for the Care of Children in 2009 and the relevant legal standards of the Royal Government of Cambodia. Cambodia as well.
